19th International Conference on Knowledge Management in Organisations
Theme: Generative AI and Knowledge Management: Innovations, Challenges, and Future Directions”
Venue: Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Kota Kinabalu Sabah, MALAYSIA
Dates: 4th-7th August 2025
The conference is preceded by one day of free tutorials for participants who wish to learn state of the art of research relating to the topics of KMO and LTEC. The tutorials will be held on the4th August 2025. The conference itself commences on the 5th of August 2025.
Generative AI is a powerful subset of artificial intelligence that leverages machine learning models, such as transformers and large language models, to create new content. This can include text, images, code, and other creative outputs. Knowledge management, on the other hand, involves the systematic approach of capturing, organizing, sharing, and effectively utilizing knowledge within an organization.
The convergence of these two fields has great implications for organizations. These include enhanced productivity; Improved Knowledge Access; Real-Time Knowledge Updating and Challenges.
This KMO conference aims to bring together academics, practitioners, and industry leaders to discuss and share insights on the intersection of generative AI and KM. It will focus on current advancements, applications, challenges, and future research opportunities. This conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss their most recent work, trends, innovation, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered, and solutions adopted in the fields of Knowledge Management and generative AI.
The conference welcomes contributions from researchers and scholars to contribute original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Knowledge Management and generative AI at the conference. The conference solicits contributions of full papers that address themes and topics of the conference. We are also interested in case studies that demonstrate how KM research strategies have been applied and the lessons learned. Papers including, but not limited to, the following:
